Nature of the Service

The site is an independent guide to official release, jail, court, corrections, and supervision resources. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or file a public-records request. It also links visitors to third-party research tools whose operations are separate.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Do not use the site to violate any law.
• Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not use its content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited eligibility decision.
• Do not seek unauthorized access to any account, server, or data.
• Do not deploy bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
• Do not disrupt access or operation for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Ford County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers screening services. Users agree not to apply information from the site to hiring or firing; tenant or housing decisions; creditworthiness or insurance premiums; licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility; or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to Ford release records, Sheriff and corrections pages, courts, legal resources, federal locators, or outside search providers. A link does not endorse the destination. The site is not responsible for another provider’s content, data practices, terms, prices, availability, or results. Visitors should review the outside service’s own rules.

Service Provided As Is

All content and features are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, or current; access will remain uninterrupted; code is free of errors or security weaknesses; or a partner search will return every relevant result. Custody and public records change often. Nothing here is an official statement from Ford County, a sheriff, court, or corrections agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent Kansas law permits, the site and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, operators, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user’s activity, misuse, violation of law, or breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property Rights

Original text, graphics, logos, page design, and code belong to Ford County Released Inmates or its content partners unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission. Government records linked from these pages remain governed by their issuing bodies and applicable law.

Changes to the Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after publication means the user accepts the updated terms.

Suspension of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, when needed to protect the service or for any other lawful reason.

Kansas Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
